Early Primary Ballot - John McCain - 11 months ago

Living in Arizona, our primary election is still around the corner. Fortunately I was able to mail in my ballot early. I belabored this decision for some time now but it was surreal seeing my selection on paper. I am a republican – it should be easy right? Did I mention that I live in Arizona? That being said, I voted for the home town celebrity (AZ Senator John McCain).

Despite a few off-the-cuff, brash comments that I have heard from him lately, I generally agree with his positions. I am, however, concerned with his appetite to fight. I hope that if he is elected that we don’t see a continuation of the Bush mindset on foreign policy. I know one thing – if it came down to it – McCain could fight.

Thankfully we have more time to ponder our decisions before the election that really counts.
